Your application was refused. What now?

1 min read

Refusal letters are short and generic. The real reasoning sits in the officer's notes, which you can request. Do not plan your next move before you have read them.

The sequence

  1. Request the officer's notes on your file
  2. Identify the specific ground — funds, ties, genuineness, documents, admissibility
  3. Fix that ground concretely, not generally
  4. Decide: reapply, appeal, or switch to a different programme
