General information collected when you visit our website

Nature and purpose of processing

When you access our website — that is, when you do not register or otherwise submit information — general information is collected automatically. The data you enter is stored for the purpose of communicating with you individually. A valid email address and your name are required for this. These details allow us to attribute the enquiry and to answer it. Providing further data is optional.

Legal basis

Processing of the data entered into the contact form takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

By providing the contact form we want to make it easy for you to get in touch. The details you provide are stored for the purpose of handling the enquiry and any follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request an offer, the data entered into the contact form is processed in order to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Recipients

Recipients of the data may be processors.

Storage period

Data is deleted no later than 6 months after the enquiry has been dealt with.

If a contractual relationship arises, we are subject to the statutory retention periods and delete your data once those periods expire.

Whether provision is required

Providing your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only deal with your enquiry if you give us your name, your email address and the reason for the enquiry.

Newsletter

The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter is used to send our newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time — every newsletter message contains a link for this. You can also unsubscribe directly by email to info@can-exp.com.

Storage period

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored until you unsubscribe, and is deleted after you unsubscribe. Data stored with us for other purposes is unaffected.

Use of Google Analytics

Nature and purpose of processing

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies" — text files stored on your computer that allow your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Because IP anonymisation is active on these pages, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with further services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Profiling

Recipients

By visiting the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the relevant subpage of our website. This happens whether or not Google provides a user account that you are logged into. If you are logged in to Google, your data is assigned directly to your account.

Withdrawing consent
