Do I have to stay in Nova Scotia after landing?

You are expected to genuinely intend to settle in the province. Permanent residence gives you mobility rights, but nominations are granted on the basis of settling here, and that intention should be real.

Can I apply to more than one province?

Technically yes, but a scattered approach reads badly. A focused application with a real connection to one province almost always performs better.

How long does a nomination take?

Provincial processing is often a few months, followed by the federal permanent residence stage. Plan for the two stages together rather than separately.

Is it worth relocating for?

For most families we speak to, yes — but not only for the points. Housing costs a fraction of what it does in Ontario or British Columbia, the commute is measured in minutes, and the coastline is genuinely part of everyday life rather than a holiday.
